Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Strong knowledge of cloud operations, governance, and FinOps.
• Experience in BFSI or regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure availability, health, and performance.
• Provide L2/L3 support for cloud infrastructure incidents.
• Troubleshoot cloud, server, storage, networking, and application issues.
• Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents.
• Manage cloud infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Configure and administer IAM users, roles, policies, groups, and access controls.
• Implement cloud security best practices and governance.
• Monitor cloud resources using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or similar tools.
• Support cloud migrations and modernization initiatives.
• Perform cloud cost optimization through rightsizing, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and utilization analysis.
• Maintain cloud inventory, tagging standards, and governance policies.
• Coordinate with networking, application, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Support backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
• Participate in DR drills and validate RTO/RPO objectives.
• Perform vulnerability remediation and patch management.
• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support audit activities and maintain required documentation.
• Work closely with cloud vendors and OEMs for issue resolution.
• Create SOPs, knowledge articles, and operational documentation.
• Automate operational activities using PowerShell, Python, Shell, or Terraform wherever applicable.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, release management, and change management activities.
• Maintain SLA compliance and participate in incident/problem/change management processes.
• Prepare operational dashboards, governance reports, and management MIS.

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer to manage and support enterprise cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in cloud operations, infrastructure management, production support, cloud security, FinOps, IAM, monitoring, automation, disaster recovery, and governance. The role involves managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, maintaining security and compliance, optimizing cloud costs, supporting L2/L3 incidents, and collaborating with application, security, networking, and infrastructure teams to deliver stable and scalable cloud services. The successful candidate will be responsible for cloud platform administration, cloud monitoring, incident management, cloud governance, vendor coordination, capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery, and continuous improvement initiatives. The candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting mission‑critical enterprise environments, preferably within BFSI, NBFC, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Broking, or other regulated industries. This position requires close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to implement cloud best practices, improve operational efficiency, automate routine tasks, ensure compliance with security standards, and maintain service availability. Candidates with experience in AWS, Azure, IAM, FinOps, cloud security, cloud monitoring, networking, production support, and ITIL processes will be preferred.
