Job summary

Indotech Infracon is seeking an experienced civil site leader to supervise day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to drawings and engineering specs.

You will monitor quality, track progress, manage sub-contractors and labor, and enforce strict HSE standards while maintaining accurate site records and resolving on-site technical issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of hands-on site execution experience in high rise residential, commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities on-site in line with drawings and specs.
• Monitor quality, materials, workmanship; conduct checks on reinforcement and finishing works.
• Track daily progress against schedules and report delays to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and site laborers; ensure productivity targets.
• Enforce HSE protocols and compliance with regulations and bylaws on site.
• Maintain site measurement books, assist in verifying RA bills, and record labor/material data.
• Resolve technical issues with consultants, architects, and engineers.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities:

• Site Execution & Supervision: Oversee day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring execution strictly complies with approved architectural drawings, structural designs, and engineering specifications.
• Quality Control: Monitor construction quality, material standards, and workmanship. Conduct regular checks on reinforcement, shuttering/formwork, concrete pouring, curing, and finishing works.
• Progress Monitoring: Track daily site progress against project schedules and milestones, reporting delays or bottlenecks promptly to the Project Manager.
• Contractor & Labor Management: Coordinate with sub-contractors, supervisors, and site laborers, ensuring adherence to productivity targets and daily task allocations.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce stringent health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols on site, including proper use of PPE, hazard identification, and compliance with statutory labor regulations and building bylaws.
• Measurement & Billing: Maintain site measurement books (MB), assist in verifying contractor running account (RA) bills, and keep accurate daily records of labor attendance, material inward/outward registers, and equipment deployment.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues, discrepancies, or site-level challenges collaboratively with project consultants, architects, and structural engineers.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 10+ years of hands-on site execution experience in high rise residential, commercial, construction projects.

Key Skills:

• Strong proficiency in blueprint/drawing reading, surveying instruments (AutoLevel, Total Station), and construction method.
• Thorough understanding of structural elements, bar bending schedules (BBS), concrete technology, and shuttering/formwork calculations.
• Excellent leadership, team coordination, and on-site problem-solving abilities.
• Good working knowledge of safety standards (BOCW guidelines) and quality assurance processes.
