Job summary

Raycon Infrastructure in Nahur, Mumbai is seeking a Civil Engineer with 7-10 years of experience in tendering, estimation, BOQ preparation, and vendor coordination. Proficiency in MS Excel and project planning is essential.

You will coordinate with architects, structural and MEP consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely tenders and project execution. Experience with MS Project and documentation is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 7–10 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Experience in tendering, estimation, BOQ preparation, and vendor coordination.
• Strong MS Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Knowledge of MS Project and project scheduling is an advantage.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple consultants, vendors and internal teams.
• Excellent documentation and attention to detail.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Civil Engineer with strong experience in tendering, estimation, BOQ preparation, vendor coordination, and project planning. The candidate should be proficient in MS Excel and capable of coordinating effectively with architects, structural consultants, MEP/services consultants, vendors, and other project agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end tendering activities for civil and construction projects.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP/services consultants, and other agencies for project requirements.
• Prepare, organize, and review BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and rate analysis for various civil works.
• Source and identify suitable vendors and contractors for project requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and contractors.
• Prepare comparative statements for quotations, rates, specifications, and commercial terms.
• Negotiate with vendors/contractors and assist in finalizing commercial terms.
• Prepare and coordinate work orders, contracts, and agreements with vendors and contractors.
• Review drawings, specifications, and scope of work to ensure accurate estimation and tendering.
• Maintain proper documentation and records related to tenders, quotations, BOQs, contracts, and vendor details.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tendering and project-related activities.
• Assist in project planning and scheduling, including preparation of project timelines.
• Experience with MS Project will be an added advantage for project scheduling, monitoring, and timeline preparation.
• Track project progress and coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure activities are completed as per schedule.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in steel structure.
• Experience in tendering, estimation, BOQ preparation, and vendor/contractor coordination. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Good understanding of civil construction, quantities, rates, and specifications.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Good negotiation and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of MS Project and project scheduling will be an added advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders/projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Experience: 7-10 years of relevant experience

Education Qualification Graduate in Civil Engineering, preferably with additional qualifications in Project Management or Construction Management.
