Job summary

Tonbo Imaging in Bengaluru seeks a CAE engineer to support geometry preparation, meshing, and data management for advanced simulations using CAE tools. You will defeature CAD models, extract domains for structural, thermal and CFD analyses, and help ensure solver readiness.

You will also document mesh statistics, boundary conditions, and results, organize project directories, and archive simulation assets to keep projects well documented and accessible for the team.

Job description

1. Geometry Preparation: Perform CAD defeaturing, simplification, and domain extraction to prepare models for structural, thermal, and CFD analysis using ANSYS tools.
2. Meshing Operations: Generate and refine baseline meshes, establish proper named selections, and conduct mesh quality checks to ensure models are solver-ready. Post-Processing Support: Extract quantitative data (e.g., surface integrals, probe readings) and generate standard visual outputs like contour plots and velocity vectors.
3. Reporting & Documentation: Assist in drafting technical reports by compiling mesh statistics, boundary condition summaries, and simulation results into standardized templates.
4. Data Management: Organize project directories, manage file archiving, and ensure all simulation assets are properly stored and documented.
