Job summary

Greenhrm Solutions seeks a CAE engineer to perform simulations for construction equipment systems, develop FE models, and evaluate static, dynamic, fatigue, and durability analyses.

You will collaborate with design engineers, interpret results, and support design optimization, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives. A mechanical engineering degree and proficiency with HyperMesh, ANSA, ANSYS, Abaqus or LS-DYNA are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of engineering mechanics, strength of materials, machine design, and finite element analysis principles.
  • Experience in CAE modeling, meshing, boundary condition setup, and result interpretation.
  • Knowledge of structural analysis, fatigue analysis, and durability evaluation.
  • Proficiency in CAE tools such as HyperMesh/ANSA, ANSYS/Abaqus/LS-DYNA, HyperView/META.
  • Good understanding of CAD data formats and design processes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in design reviews and provide engineering inputs based on CAE findings.
  • Correlate CAE results with physical test data and improve simulation methodologies.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering standards, safety requirements, and quality processes.
  • Support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T concepts.



Preferred Skills:


  • Experience in heavy engineering, automotive, construction equipment, or off-highway vehicle industry.

  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, welded structures, frames, and mechanical assemblies.

  • Experience with optimization techniques and design improvement projects.

  • Familiarity with vibration analysis, modal analysis, and fatigue simulation.

  • Programming/scripting knowledge (Python, MATLAB, APDL, or similar) for automation of CAE processes.
