Qualifications
Hands-on experience with implicit analysis projects.
Experience with material model selection and creating FEA models.
Ability to prepare comprehensive analysis reports with design solutions.
Strong FEM theory and numerical methods.
Selecting element type, mesh size, properties and quality checks.
Interpreting results and producing analysis reports with design solutions.
Responsibilities
Convert a physical problem into a simulation problem independently.
Preprocess and prepare FE models for packaging simulations.
Interpret results effectively and provide design solutions.
Handle projects and deliver solutions to stakeholders.
Coordinate with stakeholders for project discussions.
Proficient in 2D and 3D meshing of sheet metals and plastics using Altair-Hypermesh.
Required Technical Experience
Ability to understand the physical problem, translate it to an FEA model, and interpret CAE analysis outcomes to provide design recommendations and solutions.
Preprocessing / FE model preparation using Hypermesh & analysis using Ansys. Hands-on experience with implicit analysis projects.
Experience with material model selection
Strong knowledge of FEM theory and numerical methods
Experience in selecting element type, mesh size, material properties, element quality checks, and appropriate material models and parameters
Experience in interpreting and understanding FEA results, post-processing, and preparing comprehensive analysis reports with design solutions
Responsibilities
Convert a physical / field problem into a Simulation problem (boundary conditions) independently. Pro-active knowledge documentation and sharing.
Preprocessing / FE model preparation using Hypermesh and perform packaging simulations; analyze results and prepare a proper report with conclusions and suggestions to improve product performance.
Interpret results effectively; provide design solutions with support as needed.
Handle projects and deliver solutions to stakeholders with support from a mentor.
Coordinate with different functions and stakeholders for project discussions.
