Job summary

• Must have solid understanding of insurance processes, products, workflows and business rules.
• Experience in documenting requirements such as BRD, FSD, user stories and functional specs.
• Ability to coordinate requirements across web, mobile, backend APIs and third‑party integrations.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document business requirements from insurance stakeholders.
• Understand and document insurance processes, products, workflows and business rules.
• Prepare BRD, FSD, user stories, functional specs, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Work with development and QA to clarify requirements and resolve functional queries.
• Support digital insurance journeys including policy quotation, issuance, renewal, endorsements, claims, servicing, and payments.
• Coordinate requirements across web, mobile, APIs and external integrations.
• Participate in workshops, sprint planning, demos and UAT.
• Perform gap analysis between current and proposed processes.
• Support integration requirements involving core systems, payment gateways and customer platforms.
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure correct implementation of requirements.
• Maintain requirement traceability and scope alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare user guides, process documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.
