Job summary

Exavalu is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong P&C Insurance domain expertise to translate business needs into functional requirements and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

Ideal candidates will have experience with guiding principles for insurance platforms, requirement gathering, and documenting BRDs/FRDs and user stories. The role involves collaboration across teams and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in the P&C Insurance industry.
• Deep understanding of Insurance processes: Policy Admin, Underwriting, Claims, Billing, Customer Lifecycle.
• Expertise in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and business process analysis.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows.
• Collaborate with business, product, and technology teams to define and deliver solutions.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and business process mapping.
• Support solution design, testing, and UAT.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, and requirement walkthroughs.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of translating business needs into functional requirements and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

Experience with insurance platforms such as Guidewire, Insurity, Instanda, Insurity, InsureMO, Origami Risk or other COTS insurance products is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and process flows.
• Collaborate with business, product, and technology teams to define and deliver solutions.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and business process mapping.
• Support solution design, testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions, workshops, and requirement walkthroughs.
• Ensure business requirements align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
