EPAM Systems, Inc. in Chennai is seeking a Senior AWS Migration Engineer with Gen AI to move on‑prem systems to AWS and embed AI‑driven capabilities into cloud solutions. You will run assessments, implement migrations with MGN/DMS/DataSync and deliver IaC, CI/CD, and monitoring using CloudWatch/CloudTrail/Prometheus.

The role requires deep AWS expertise, hands-on migration tooling, and the ability to architect secure, scalable cloud architectures with AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud engineering and migration experience.
• Deep AWS expertise across compute, storage and database services.
• Hands-on with migration tools (MGN, DMS, DataSync, Snowball).
• Strong IaC skills with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• CI/CD experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins or CodePipeline.
• Monitoring and logging with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Prometheus.
• Experience embedding Gen AI into cloud workloads.

• Direct end-to-end migrations from on‑prem to AWS using rehost, replatform or refactor.
• Evaluate infrastructure, dependencies and migration strategy.
• Architect scalable, secure, cost‑optimized AWS solutions.
• Operate migration tools (MGN, DMS, DataSync, Snowball).
• Provision infra via Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Set up CI/CD automation and pipelines.
• Deploy monitoring and logging with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Prometheus.
• Embed AI/ML capabilities into cloud workloads (chatbots, automation, data insights).
• Leverage Generative AI services (Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenAI APIs).
