Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior AWS Migration Engineer with Gen AI to orchestrate on-premises to AWS migrations and embed generative AI into cloud workloads.

You will execute migrations using MGN, DMS, DataSync/Snowball, implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and automate CI/CD with GitLab/Jenkins/CodePipeline, monitoring via CloudWatch/CloudTrail/Prometheus. Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional cloud engineering & migration experience.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS compute/storage/database, networking and security services.
• Experience with migration tooling (MGN, DMS, DataSync/Snowball) and IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migration of on-prem apps to AWS using Rehost, Replatform, Refactor.
• Analyze existing infrastructure, define migration strategy and dependencies.
• Design scalable, secure, cost-optimized AWS architectures and implement monitoring.
• Automate release pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins, CodePipeline; enable AI-enabled workloads.
• Integrate Generative AI services (Bedrock, SageMaker, OpenAI) into cloud workloads.
