Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is building a team around a Senior AWS Migration Engineer with Gen AI to move on-prem workloads to AWS and enhance solutions with modern AI services.

You will plan migrations, codify infrastructure with Terraform/CloudFormation, and implement observability and CI/CD while using Bedrock, SageMaker, and OpenAI APIs.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional experience in cloud engineering and migration.
• Experience with AWS compute/storage/database/services and networking.
• Hands-on with IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end migration of on-prem applications to AWS using Rehost, Replatform and Refactor approaches.
• Assess current infrastructure, identify dependencies and define a migration strategy.
• Design scalable, secure and cost-optimized AWS architectures.
• Apply AWS migration tools such as MGN, DMS, DataSync/Snowball in delivery.
• Implement CI/CD automation with GitLab CI, Jenkins and CodePipeline.
• Set up monitoring and logging using CloudWatch, CloudTrail and Prometheus.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into cloud workloads using Bedrock, SageMaker and OpenAI APIs.
• Drive AI-driven automation within DevOps and migration processes.
