Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior AWS Migration Engineer with Gen AI to lead cloud migrations to AWS and introduce generative AI features into production workloads.

You will design AWS architectures, implement Terraform/CloudFormation, and automate delivery with GitLab CI/Jenkins/CodePipeline while applying Bedrock, SageMaker and OpenAI APIs. The role focuses on end-to-end migrations, AI-enabled automation, and scalable cloud design across geographies.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional cloud engineering and migration experience.
• Advanced expertise in AWS compute, storage and database services.
• Hands-on work with migration tools like MGN, DMS and DataSync/Snowball.
• IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience in CI/CD automation with GitLab CI, Jenkins and CodePipeline.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migrations of on-prem apps to AWS using Rehost, Replatform and Refactor.
• Review infrastructure, identify dependencies and define migration strategy.
• Design scalable, secure and cost-optimized AWS architectures.
• Run migrations using MGN, DMS, DataSync and Snowball.
