Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru invites an experienced Automation & Manual QA Engineer to join our engineering services team. You will design and execute automated and manual test strategies for web, mobile, API, and desktop applications, using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.

You will integrate quality practices into Agile and CI/CD environments, scale automation frameworks, and explore AI-powered tools to optimize testing.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years hands-on experience in automated and manual testing.
• Expertise in Playwright with TS/JS; testing across web, mobile, API, and desktop.
• Experience integrating QA into Agile and CI/CD environments.
• Familiarity with AI-powered test optimization tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable test strategies and frameworks.
• Execute automated and manual test cases for web, mobile, API, and desktop apps.
• Develop and maintain Playwright-based test frameworks.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and quality engineering practices.
• Perform AI-assisted test development and optimization.
• Test Electron-based desktop applications (preferred).

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation & Manual QA Engineer with strong expertise in test automation, mobile application testing, and quality engineering practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of hands‑on experience in designing and executing automated and manual test strategies, developing scalable test frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript, testing web, mobile, API, and desktop applications, and integrating quality practices into Agile and CI/CD environments. Experience leveraging AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude for test optimization and productivity enhancement is highly desirable.
