Job summary

Quest Global seeks an experienced QA Automation Lead/Architect with 12+ years in software quality engineering and automation. The role focuses on Python-based automation, enterprise framework design, and AI-enabled testing to enhance software quality and efficiency.

You will lead automation across multiple projects, integrate with CI/CD, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Development, Product, and DevOps teams to deliver robust verification and validation.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Software Testing or Quality Engineering.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience designing enterprise-grade automation frameworks.
• Hands-on with Selenium, Playwright, PyTest, Robot Framework.
• API automation and database validation expertise.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, debugging and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks in Python.
• Define automation strategies for UI, API, database, and end-to-end tests.
• Build frameworks from scratch and improve existing ones.
• Lead automation initiatives across projects and tech stacks.
• Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Collaborate with Dev, Product, DevOps and Business teams to ensure quality.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Lead/Architect with 12+ years of experience in software quality engineering and automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, automation framework design, and enterprise test automation. The candidate should possess a demonstrable ability in software development with a strong focus on QA and Verification & Validation (V&V).

As the automation landscape continues to evolve with the adoption of AI models and automation tools, the candidate should be capable of designing and implementing intelligent automation solutions that enhance software quality, improve efficiency, and support innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks using Python.
• Define and implement automation strategies for UI, API, database, and end-to-end testing.
• Build automation frameworks from scratch and continuously improve existing frameworks.
• Lead automation initiatives across multiple projects and technology stacks.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Collaborate with Development, Product, DevOps, and Business teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Evaluate and implement AI-enabled automation tools and solutions to improve productivity and test effectiveness.
• Mentor automation engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices.
• Drive automation metrics, quality improvements, and innovation across projects.

Work Experience

Mandatory Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Engineering, or Verification & Validation.
• Strong programming expertise in Python.
• Proven experience in designing and developing enterprise-grade automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar.
• Strong experience in API automation and database validation.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Excellent debugging, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-assisted test automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning or Generative AI applications in software testing.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
