Job summary

Quest Global in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, seeks an experienced QA Automation Lead to define and own automation strategy across dashboards, APIs, and data pipelines. You will lead automated test development using C#, Playwright, Selenium, SpecFlow, and NUnit, while mentoring engineers and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with cross-functional teams in an Agile/SAFe environment, shaping testability, metrics, and release readiness, and applying AI-assisted tools to accelerate

Qualifications

• 7-10 years in software quality engineering, including at least 3 years in a senior/lead automation role.
• Strong programming and automation development in C#.
• Hands-on with Playwright, Selenium, SpecFlow, NUnit.
• ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining test-automation frameworks from the ground up.
• Strong knowledge of UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
• Experience integrating automated tests with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, mentoring, and technical-leadership skills.
• Experience in Agile or SAFe development environments.
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test design, automation, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define and own automation strategy and test framework for dashboards, backend microservices, APIs, data pipelines, and workflows.

• Prepare test plans, protocols, and documentation for quality management and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate emerging automation tools and continuously improve test coverage, execution speed, reliability.

Work Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Must Have Experience

• 7- 10 years of experience in software quality engineering, including a minimum of three years in a senior or lead automation role.
• Strong programming and automation-development experience in C#.
