Key Responsibilities
- Ensure email uptime for NPCI users & all SMTP applications to keep NPCI business moving.
- Protect the NPCI MX email gateway from spam, cyber threats, malware, ransomware, spoofing and phishing attacks.
- Secure NPCI email domain by enhancing email security protocol and stopping sender fraud with SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
- All incoming & outgoing mail to be clean, virus‑free, spam‑free to avoid NPCI IP blacklist.
- Integrate NPCI Email Solution with IronPort and Active Directory for seamless mail delivery.
- Proactively review and resolve escalated calls.
- Upgrade to close security vulnerabilities on time.
- O365 administration, storage management, web hosting, troubleshooting, bash scripting, log management, automations, IronPort mail gateway management.
- Perform four email DR drill activities with scheduled timelines using scripts to reduce downtime.
- Coordinate with IS, Audit, and Risk teams during internal and external audits for compliance and closure.
Managing Active Directory
- Maintain 10 internal AD servers with DHCP & DNS services.
- Replicate all AD servers for synchronization, net logon, time services, FSMO roles, schema, NTDS database partitions, and DNS settings.
- Perform AD health checks and resolve bottlenecks and issues.
- Install patches & upgrade software to close audit observations.
- Create scripting to avoid manual errors.
- Manage DNS zone creation and deletion on location AD servers.
- Regular cleanup of AD, DNS and DHCP.
- Manage AD DHCP scopes and configure new scopes.
- Create and maintain Group Policy.
- Enable AD Single Sign‑On for User Windows Login, EPO, Email & Proxy for seamless access.
Administration of Internet DNS Server on Open Source
- Ensure uptime of NPCI public DNS.
- Run NPCI Public DNS application at three DC locations on Linux BIND with free software.
- Upgrade Linux OS and BIND application to close audit points related to Public DNS servers.
- Back up NPCI DNS public zone files weekly with script.
- Monitor and protect DNS server from cache‑poisoning attacks.
- Ensure all NPCI subdomains FQDN resolve for external world via authoritative on‑premise NPCI DNS servers.
DHCP
- Manage DHCP server.
- Allow and deny MAC IDs.
- IP reservation.
- Scope management.
- Wi‑Fi Access Point management.
Endpoint Client Management Tool
- Patch Management.
- Deploy Software and Software Updates.
- Service Desk Management.
- Manage AD, DNS, DHCP, O365, IronPort, Wi‑Fi, BMC client management.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, the candidate must possess strong technical skills in email infrastructure, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and endpoint management, along with experience in security protocol implementation, scripting, and audit coordination. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least three years of related experience are required.
