The role requires leading daily operational activities, ensuring all preventive maintenance (PM) schedules are completed on time, and periodically reviewing plans through CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycles to enhance system reliability and performance.

The individual will report all operational activities to the Data Center Manager (DCM), take real‑time decisions based on defined processes, and ensure detailed documentation for every event, including incident reports and CAPA records.

The candidate must possess strong technical expertise across critical infrastructure, including Diesel Generators (DG), UPS systems, transformers (EHT/HT/LT), electrical distribution, SMPS, STP/WTP systems, and HSD management processes.

The role also involves ensuring teams are adequately trained, with regular skill assessments and structured development action plans to maintain operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • The individual will plan and execute Business Continuity Management (BCM) strategies, conduct mock drills, and identify gaps in emergency response preparedness.
  • Vendor management is critical, including performance monitoring, contract management, KPI reviews, and adherence to HSE compliance standards.
  • The role requires supporting audits, acting as an auditor for various certifications, and ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements through coordination with government authorities.
  • Oversee incident management processes, ensuring timely response to BMS alarms and maintaining system parameters within agreed operational limits.
  • Energy management initiatives, including advanced technologies for PUE improvement and loss reduction, will be driven without impacting live operations.
  • The role also includes lifecycle management of infrastructure assets.
  • Strong communication skills are essential to follow customer communication protocols, manage escalations, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • The ideal candidate is a technically strong leader with a proactive approach, capable of driving operational excellence, sustainability, and continuous improvement in a high‑availability data center environment.
