Responsibilities
- We are seeking an experienced Tech Operations Lead to join our UPI Back Office team, responsible for leading the technical operations and ensuring seamless execution of NIPL Business in area of Acceptance – RuPay cards & UPI, Remittance and Acceptance on UPI and UPI Licensing.
- Technical Operations: Support 24x7 support working in various shifts to oversee country-wise transactions for products like UPI, Remittance, and RuPay. Responsible for monitoring both online and offline transactions, and monitoring to enhance user experience Manage day-to-day payment operations, including settlement file posting, forex rates updates, and SFTP file management.
- Monitoring transaction declines (TD/BD) and analyze the root cause of the issue and highlight, follow up to fix the error in coordination with Bank & Partner. Driving process improvements, automation monitoring process, automated generation of various MIS & reports.
- Transaction Processing: Oversee the processing of UPI transactions, ensuring timely and accurate settlement, and resolving any technical issues that may arise.
- System Maintenance: Plan and execute system maintenance, upgrades, and patches to ensure the stability and security of UPI back- office systems.
- Incident Management: Lead incident management efforts, identifying root causes, and implementing fixes to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, quality assurance, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of UPI back-office systems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to processes for operational tasks.
- Ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements, providing timely reporting to regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent graduate from a reputed college.
- Experience: 6- 8 years of experience in technical operation with a focus on payment systems and UPI.
- Strong understanding of Payments domain, Technology Operations.
- Experience in NoSQL and RDBMS databases, able to write, modify and execute the SQL queries and procedures.
- Knowledge of Java programming language, Devops tools will be an added advantage.
- Hands-on knowledge of writing and executing Shell script in Linux and well versed with Linux commands.
- Working knowledge on web servers like Apache, Nginx etc.
- Open to travel within India and Internationally.
- Top notch verbal & written communication skills to build strong relations and collaboration with influencing skills.
