Job summary

Varmora Granito Limited is seeking a Sr. Area Sales Manager to drive retail and project sales across Ahmedabad. The role demands 9–13 years in channel and project sales, with a focus on bathware products, and a graduate degree (MBA preferred).

You will lead a sales team, appoint dealers, and expand market share while ensuring timely collections. Expected travel within the territory and strong negotiation/relationship skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 9–13 years of experience in Retail Channel Sales & Project Sales in bathware, sanitaryware, faucets or CP fittings.
• Graduate degree required; MBA in Marketing or Sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
• Appoint new dealers and distributors and strengthen existing channel partnerships.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage in the territory.
• Develop relations with retailers, dealers, distributors, plumbers, and contractors to drive product sales.
• Promote bathware products including faucets, sanitaryware, showers, bathroom accessories, and allied products.
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales performance, displays, and competitor activity.
• Guide and monitor sales executives to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure timely payment collection and manage dealer outstanding balances.

Education: Graduate in any discipline; an MBA in Marketing or Sales is preferred.

Salary : upto 11.50 Lakh

Role & responsibilities :

• Sales Target Achievement: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
• Dealer & Distributor Network: Appoint new dealers and distributors and strengthen existing channel partnerships.
• Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage across the assigned territory.
• Retailer Relationship Management: Develop relationships with retailers, dealers, distributors, plumbers, and contractors to increase product sales.
• Product Promotion: Promote bathware products, including faucets, sanitaryware, showers, bathroom accessories, and allied products.
• Market Visits: Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales performance, product availability, display standards, and competitor activities.
• Sales Team Management: Guide and monitor sales executives and territory sales representatives to achieve business objectives.
• Collections & Outstanding: Ensure timely payment collection and maintain control over dealer outstanding balances.

Team Management & Business Planning :

• Develop area-wise sales strategies and business plans for retail and project channels.
• Set targets for sales team members and monitor their performance through regular reviews.
• Conduct periodic sales meetings and provide market feedback to senior management.
• Maintain sales pipeline, business forecasts, and channel-wise performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, credit limits, and reporting procedures.

Candidate Profile:

• Good knowledge of the local market, competitor activities, and channel networks.
• Strong negotiation, communication, relationship management, and team leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
