Job summary

Gaurs is seeking an Architectural Designer to create architectural designs for residential and high-rise projects, with strong detailing and documentation skills.

You will develop concepts, elevations and coordination drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit, ensuring timely release of GFC drawings to sites.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural designs, working drawings, and coordination drawings for residential and high-rise projects.
• Develop design concepts, elevations, sections, block-up & finishing details using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
• Prepare/check construction drawings and documentation ensuring timely release of final GFC (Good for Construction) drawings to site.
• Review and coordinate with all consultants and stakeholders for project-related queries, drawings, and details.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, review quality, and resolve design/execution issues.
• Manage and guide project teams for smooth delivery.
• Ensure strict compliance with building codes, bye-laws, submission drawings, and client requirements.
• Strong knowledge of all project-related drawings and details.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other relevant software tools.
• Hands-on experience in coordination with Structural, MEP, Landscape, and Architectural consultants.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in high-rise residential and commercial projects.
• Degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch) from a recognized institute.
• Experience in large-scale group housing and commercial projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit with strong design detailing & documentation skills.
• Excellent understanding of architectural design principles, spatial planning, and detailing.
• Strong ability to handle projects independently and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
