Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Deltek Maconomy functional support professional to assist Finance, Shared Services, and agency operations. You will analyze issues, perform RCA, manage SLAs, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement improvements.

The role requires 2+ years of Maconomy experience, strong financial process knowledge, and hands-on testing and deployment capabilities. Global governance and SOX compliance are core.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on Deltek Maconomy experience in a functional support or Business Applications environment.
• Experience configuring and supporting Maconomy in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Billing, Project Accounting, Purchasing, and T&E.
• Experience with upgrades, enhancements, testing, and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for Deltek Maconomy across Finance, Shared Services, and agency operations.
• Investigate and resolve application issues, system errors, and user inquiries.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage support requests in accordance with service levels.
• Collaborate with business users to minimize operational disruption.
• Configure and maintain Maconomy settings, workflows, security roles, and master data.
• Support changes, new entity setup, and application administration tasks.
• Maintain documentation for configurations and procedures.
• Ensure changes comply with governance, change management, and internal controls.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify process improvements and requirements.
• Assist in design, configuration, testing, and deployment of enhancements.
• Support automation initiatives to improve efficiency and UX.
• Participate in roadmap and continuous improvement projects.
• Support releases, patches, and deployments; conduct UAT.
• Monitor production processing, integrations, and scheduled jobs.
• Coordinate with developers, infra teams, and vendors for issue resolution.
• Build relationships with Finance, Shared Services, and operations leaders.
• Provide guidance on Maconomy capabilities and best practices.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities.
• Assist with user training and adoption of new functionality.
• Develop and maintain functional documentation and support procedures.
• Document business requirements, configuration changes, and testing results.
• Support SOX compliance and internal controls; promote governance globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on Deltek Maconomy experience in a functional support or Business Applications environment.
• Experience configuring and supporting Maconomy in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Project Accounting, Purchasing, and Time & Expense.
• Experience supporting application enhancements and production releases.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
• Experience supporting global, multi-company ERP environments.
• Working knowledge of SQL for troubleshooting and data validation.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, or middleware platforms.
• Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar work management tools.
• Knowledge of SOX controls and IT change management practices.
• Experience in the advertising, media, professional services, or project-based industry.
