Job summary

Jobtailor in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Finance Systems leader to translate the finance vision into a scalable end-state architecture. You will drive major Project Costing initiatives, define system requirements, and oversee delivery in partnership with IT.

The role requires strong experience in finance transformation, ERP governance, and agile project delivery. You will mentor teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure client adoption of new platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, IS or related field, or 3+ years with an Advanced degree
• Experience managing finance transformation initiatives
• Experience with all phases of the technology implementation lifecycle
• Organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and process mapping skills
• Ability to work with offshore resources globally
• Ability to communicate with business leaders across Finance and Technology
• Independent judgment for enterprise-wide projects with financial impacts
• Strong understanding of project accounting, cost allocation, forecasting, and capex/opex management
• Solid understanding of project management techniques and best practices
• Proven track record in Project Costing system implementations and upgrades (e.g. Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP S/4HANA, Workday, Planview, Planisware)
• Experience with ERP governance frameworks, data integrity, and compliance (SOX)
• Experience applying Agile in projects
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills

• Support translating the finance vision for the future into a world-class technology end-state architecture
• Lead development and execution of major Finance Project Costing initiatives
• Develop requirements for Project Costing systems
• Manage delivery in close collaboration with IT
• Conduct user acceptance testing and client adoption
• Manage work in an agile environment using Jira
• Provide accurate and transparent leadership updates, highlighting risks and issues with mitigation and remediation plans
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, IT, and the broader business to understand needs and identify opportunities

Requirements
