Job summary

Jobtailor in India seeks a skilled automation and analytics professional to design, develop, and maintain scalable digital solutions that improve control, efficiency, and user experience. You will drive end-to-end transformation using Power Platform, SQL, Python, and BI tools to deliver measurable business impact.

Collaborating with global technology teams, you’ll map roadmaps, track milestones, test rigorously, and produce documentation to ensure operational continuity and strong governance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Software Systems, or related field.
Expertise across digital transformation, intelligent automation, analytics, and Generative AI capabilities.
Expert technical skills aligned to the Technical Skills and Capabilities section are mandatory.
3+ years of relevant experience with strong technical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement, document, and maintain technical processes and solutions that improve control, scalability, efficiency, and user experience
Create end-to-end development roadmaps, track delivery milestones, monitor risks, and report progress to stakeholders
Partner with Technology, FAA, regional SPoCs, FTDT, EDP, process owners, SMEs, and international colleagues to deliver automation and analytics initiatives within Controllership
Assess existing processes with business owners, identify transformation opportunities, and redesign workflows using fit-for-purpose technology solutions
Coordinate with SMEs and Technology teams to resolve issues, remove roadblocks, conduct robust testing, support parallel runs, and enable deployment through standard technology processes
Prepare process-owner and technical support documentation to enable sustainable handover and operational continuity
Support broader DTOG governance activities and transformation priorities for International Controllership as required
Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including design, build, testing, debugging, deployment, documentation, and support

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Systems, or a related field
Demonstrated expertise across digital transformation, intelligent automation, analytics, and Generative AI capabilities
Expert technical skills aligned to the Technical Skills and Capabilities section are mandatory
3+ years of relevant experience with strong technical and analytical skills
Deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse
Experience building multi-step, condition-based Power Automate flows integrated with SharePoint, Outlook, and APIs
Experience developing responsive Power Apps with embedded business logic and data connectors
Power BI experience with real-time dashboarding, DAX modeling, Power Query, and integration with GCP and SQL-based data sources
Strong VBA programming, macro coding, object model, and event-driven programming skills
Expertise in Power Query, DAX, and SharePoint
Strong Python coding skills, including data types, control flow, exception handling, file I/O, and modular programming
Mastery of SQL and BigQuery, including complex query writing, debugging, and query tuning using indexes and caching strategies
Hands-on knowledge of MS Access and PostgreSQL databases
Experience with Tableau and Power BI visualization tools
Ability to write clean, modular, and optimized code using best practices
Familiarity with Unix shell scripting
Strong familiarity with finance and reporting platforms including Oracle, Essbase/SmartView, Flare, OAS, FODL, Lumi, TM1, Axiom, Cognos, GlobeStar, and Workiva
