Job summary

Tekshapers Software Solution is seeking a Senior Accountant – Accounts Receivable (AR) with 3-5 years of experience, onsite in Noida. The role focuses on US staffing billing, invoicing, AR aging, and collections with strong QuickBooks and MS Excel proficiency.

You will validate timesheets, maintain AR reports, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and support month-end close to ensure accurate financial records and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of AR experience, preferably in US staffing or IT consulting.
• Hands-on QuickBooks experience is mandatory.
• Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable operations including invoicing and collections.
• Prepare client invoices based on timesheets, contracts, and billing terms.
• Validate timesheets and maintain AR aging reports.

Position Overview

Tekshapers Software Solution is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant – Accounts Receivable (AR) with strong expertise in US staffing or IT consulting. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in QuickBooks, client invoicing, billing reconciliation, AR aging management, and payment collections.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing, maintaining financial records, monitoring outstanding receivables, and coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure timely payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, including client invoicing, billing, payment tracking, and collections.
• Prepare and process client invoices based on approved timesheets, contracts, and billing terms.
• Validate employee and consultant timesheets to ensure accurate billing.
• Maintain and update AR aging reports and monitor outstanding receivables.
• Follow up with clients regarding overdue payments and resolve payment‑related queries.
• Perform customer account reconciliation and investigate billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and update transactions in QuickBooks.
• Prepare regular reports on outstanding balances, collections, and receivables status.
• Coordinate with internal recruitment, operations, payroll, and finance teams to resolve billing issues.
• Ensure compliance with company billing procedures and applicable accounting practices.
• Support month‑end closing activities and assist with AR‑related financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy, collection efficiency, and overall AR processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable.
• Experience in US Staffing or IT Consulting is highly preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with QuickBooks is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of US staffing billing, client invoicing, timesheet validation, and payment collection processes.
• Experience managing AR aging reports, outstanding receivables, and account reconciliation.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in financial records.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with prior experience handling Accounts Receivable for US staffing or IT consulting companies will be preferred.
