Job summary

Harsha Constructions in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting at Head Office or Branch Office.

The role covers Tally/ERP, GST, TDS, bank reconciliations and MIS reporting, coordinating with Head Office and project teams. B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter with 26 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification.
• 26 years of relevant accounting experience in construction, infrastructure, mining or similar industries.
• Good working knowledge of Tally/ERP, MS Excel, GST and TDS.
• Candidates with site/project accounting experience will be preferred.
• Good communication, analytical and reconciliation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries, ledgers, vouchers and supporting documents.
• Handle Tally/ERP accounting, bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Prepare and maintain sales/purchase invoices, payment and receipt entries.
• Assist in GST, TDS, PF, ESIC and other statutory accounting and compliance activities.
• Monitor accounts payable, receivables, expenses and outstanding balances.
• Verify bills, invoices and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Prepare monthly MIS, expense statements and other financial reports.
• Coordinate with Head Office, project/site teams, vendors, customers and banks.
• Maintain proper records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Assist in finalization of accounts and statutory/internal audits.
• Ensure timely submission of accounting data and reports to management.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
