Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee accounting operations at our Mangalore office. The role involves handling financial reporting, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and supporting the finance team in ensuring smooth and accurate accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ledger scrutiny, and bookkeeping
• Prepare and review journal entries, invoices, payment entries, and financial records
• Handle bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and customer account reconciliation
• Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal departments for audits and documentation
• Monitor expense tracking, accounting accuracy, and internal controls
• Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and MIS reporting
• Ensure timely closing of books and maintenance of financial records

Requirements:

• 3–6 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail with ability to manage deadlines efficiently
• Prior experience in infrastructure, logistics, or industrial sectors will be an advantage
