Job summary

Kedar Ventures in Pune seeks a commercially smart, proactive Senior Accountant to independently manage the Accounts & Finance function and support Management in financial planning, cash-flow management, cost control and finance-related decision-making.

You will handle project/construction accounting, GST, TDS and statutory compliances, and prepare MIS, P&L and cash-flow analyses. Proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP and MS Excel is essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Handle complete project/construction accounting and site-wise accounts.
• Manage material billing, including PO, Invoices, Delivery Challans, GRN/MRN and reconciliations.
• Verify RA Bills, subcontractor bills, material quantities and rates.
• Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate and respond to Income Tax/GST notices, queries and assessments.
• Prepare project-wise MIS, P&L, cost reports, cash-flow reports and ageing analysis.
• Support Management in fund allocation, cost control, budgeting and financial decision-making.
• Coordinate with Site, Purchase, Stores, Commercial, Auditors and Management.
• Maintain vendor/customer ledgers, receivables, payables and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate accounting using Tally/ERP and MS Excel.

We are looking for a commercially smart, proactive and responsible Senior Accountant to independently manage the Accounts & Finance function and support Management in financial planning, cash-flow management, cost control and finance-related decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complete project/construction accounting and site-wise accounts.
• Manage material billing, including PO, Invoices, Delivery Challans, GRN/MRN and reconciliations.
• Verify RA Bills, subcontractor bills, material quantities and rates.
• Manage GST,TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
• Handle RERA compliances, Advance Tax working and related submissions.
• Coordinate and respond to Income Tax/GST notices, queries and assessments.
• Maintain vendor/customer ledgers, receivables, payables and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor project expenses, material purchases, cash flow and outstanding payments.
• Prepare project-wise MIS, P&L, cost reports, cash-flow reports and ageing analysis.
• Support Management in fund allocation, cost control, budgeting and financial decision-making.
• Coordinate with Site, Purchase, Stores, Commercial, Auditors and Management.
• Maintain proper documentation and support internal/statutory audits.
• Ensure accurate and timely accounting using Tally/ERP and MS Excel.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, Income Tax & RERA compliances.
• Good working knowledge of Advance Tax calculation and tax notices/compliances.
• Proficiency in MS Excel Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, MIS Reporting.
• Hands-on experience in Tally Prime/ERP.
• Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to independently manage Accounts & Finance operations.

Education & Experience

• B.Com / M.Com Any Specialization
• 810 years of relevant experience, preferably in Construction/Real Estate/Project Accounting.
