Job summary

Flora Constructions invites an experienced Accountant in Visakhapatnam to join our construction-focused finance team. You will manage day-to-day accounting, ensure statutory compliance, and drive accurate financial reporting for multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in construction accounting, strong GST/TDS knowledge, and proficiency in Tally ERP; you will work independently and coordinate with auditors and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commerce/finance/accounting.
• Minimum 5 years experience in accounting, preferably construction.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation and financial reporting.
• Able to handle end-to-end accounts and statutory compliance.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Role & responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Finalisation, Ledger scrutiny, and Trial Balance preparation.
• Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, and financial reports.
• Manage GST filing, TDS deductions, taxation, and statutory compliances.
• Handle Income Tax Return filing and support during Tax Audits.
• Maintain accurate financial records using Tally ERP.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and overall financial transactions.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and management for financial reporting.
• Ensure proper documentation and accounting controls for construction projects.
