Job summary

SYSTRA India invites applications for Section Engineer-Telecommunication System to support PMC works for Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project. The role is based in India and involves telecom subsystem oversight during construction.

You will assist in design review, installation, testing, and interface with rolling stock, signaling, MEP, and SCADA, coordinating with agencies and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with 7 years' experience in telecom during construction in rail-based projects.
• Diploma holders with 10 years' experience in telecom during construction in rail-based projects.
• Experience in High-Speed Rail/Metro projects as defined in the posting.
• Knowledge of interfaces with rolling stock, signaling, MEP, SCADA.
• Willingness to coordinate with agencies for project completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Design review of Telecom System including sub systems for backbone of data transmission from field units to centralized control centres (DTS), Wireless Network, CCTV, Access Control, PIDS, PAS, Master Clock, EPBAX, Telecom SCADA etc.
• Assist in Installation, Integration, Testing & Commissioning of Telecom System.
• Assist in Interfacing of Telecom System with Rolling Stock, Signalling Subsystems, MEP, SCADA etc. and Interface document approval.
• Assist in verifying completed work and prepare request for payment to contractors.
• Assist NHSRCL in obtaining statutory approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with various agencies i.e. ISA, CMRS etc. for successful completion of the project.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Missions/Main Duties

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification: Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent )

Experience: Engineering Graduate with 07 years, or Engineering Diploma with 10 years of experience of implementing Telecommunication System during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
