Job summary

SYSTRA India seeks an Engineer-Architect for on-site PMC works on the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project in Surat. You will assist senior experts in reviewing civil/architectural drawings, BIM models, and tender compliance to ensure project quality and progress.

The role requires a graduate in architecture and about five years of rail-transit construction exposure. You will support monitoring, coordination, and varied project duties to help deliver the complex rail infrastructure program.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Architecture stream.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction of station/ OOC/ utility buildings in rail-based Transit System projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chief Expert in reviewing design/drawings along with specifications for civil/Architecture works.
• Assist in proof checking geotechnical reports/data and provide technical inputs for design.
• Assist in proof checking civil works proposals and BIM drawings for civil works.
• Assist in ensuring design complies with tender requirements, codes and regulations for Civil Works.
• Assist in overall monitoring and in charge of Architecture works.
• Assist in other roles required to complete the project as assigned by the PD/Client.
• Assist in reviewing design/drawings and specifications for civil/Architecture works for Chief Expert.
• Assist in proof checking geotechnical reports/data and BIM drawings for civil works.
• Assist in ensuring design complies with tender requirements and regulations, considering construction methodologies.
• Assist in monitoring Architecture works and as stand-in for Chief Expert-Civil when required.
• Assist Section Engineer in their assigned works and any other work to complete the project.

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project

Location: Surat

Missions / Main Duties

Assist Chief Expert in performing tasks that are following but not limited to:

• Assist in reviewing the design/drawings along with specifications for the execution of civil/Architecture related works.
• Assist in proof checking of geotechnical reports/data, providing the technical inputs for design etc.
• Assist in proof checking the technical civil works proposals, Building Information Model (BIM), drawings of civil works such as structures, foundations for utility buildings, inclusive of all enabling works, etc.
• Assist in ensuring that recommended design complies with tender requirements, enactments, codes and regulations relevant to the Civil Works and has taken into consideration the construction methodologies,associated Temporary Works and Contractor’s Equipment and available resources.
• Assist in overall monitoring and in charge of Architecture related works.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by the PD/Client(NHSRCL).

Assist Dy. Chief Expert in performing tasks that are following but not limited to:

• Assist in reviewing the design/drawings along with specifications for the execution of civil/Architecture related works.
• Assist in proof checking of geotechnical reports/data, providing the technical inputs for design etc.
• Assist in proof checking the technical civil works proposals, Building Information Model (BIM), drawings of civil works such as structures, foundations for utility buildings, inclusive of all enabling works, etc.
• Assist in ensuring that recommended design complies with tender requirements, enactments, codes and regulations relevant to the Civil Works and has takeninto consideration the construction methodologies,associated Temporary Works and Contractor’s Equipment and available resources.
• Assist in overall monitoring and in charge of Architecture related works.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned bythe PD/Client(NHSRCL).This position stands in for all roles and responsibilities of the Chief Expert-Civil during his absence.

Assist Section Engineer in their assigned works.

Any other work required to be performed to complete the project.

Profile / Skills

Minimum Qualification: Graduate in Architecture stream

Minimum Experience: 05 years of experience in construction of Station building /OCC building/utility buildings/ depot building in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
