Job summary

SYSTRA India, based in Ahmedabad, invites qualified engineers to join the Project Management Consultancy for Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project. The Section Engineer-Overall ITC-1 will support ITC coordination during the construction phase, spanning Signalling, Telecom, SCADA and Ticketing systems.

You'll assist in preparing ITC documents, coordinating with contractors and authorities, witnessing tests, evaluating results, and compiling progress reports under the PMO and NHSRCL framework.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent.
• Experience in ITC during construction in rail-based transit projects.
• Knowledge of Signalling, Telecommunication, SCADA and Ticketing systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist for acting as lead member in ITC Coordination team.
• Assist in preparing and issuing ITC Overall Basic Document (Preliminary).
• Assist in preparing integrated Overall ITC Detail Plan based on provided documents.
• Assist in coordinating between contractors/parties on ITC scheduling and installation sites.
• Assist in witnessing tests related to Overall ITC (as applicable).
• Assist in evaluating test results and advising corrective actions to Contractors.

Hiring for Project Management Consultancy Services for Works of Signalling & Telecommunication System, SCADA System, and Ticketing System of Mumbai – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project.

Location: Ahmedabad

Missions/Main Duties

• Assist for acting as lead member in ITC Coordination team.
• Assist in preparing and issuing ITC Overall Basic Document based on the ITC Overall Basic Document (Preliminary).
• Assist in preparing integrated Overall ITC Detail Plan based on the ITC Overall Basic Document and Overall ITC Plans issued by each Contractor.
• Assist in Coordination between Contractors/Parties related to the Overall ITC, concerning matters such as scheduling and location for installing and attaching measuring devices on the Rolling Stock at the Depot.
• Assist in Witnessing the tests related to Overall ITC (as applicable).
• Assist in evaluating test results along with respective package Engineer and advise corrective actions and/or additional tests to the Contractors.
• Assist in Examining and determining countermeasures along with respective package Engineer against issues related to two or more packages.
• Assist to Issue summarized/ compiled progress reports and recommendation on the Overall ITC, at the appropriate time.
• Assist in submitting all necessary documents and have discussions etc. with CMRS / RDSO/ other Statutory Authorities to obtain approvals.
• Assist and coordinate with different parties i.e. contractors, ISA etc.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).

Assist Dy. Chief Experts in performing tasks that includes the following but not limited to :

• Assist in Audit of all overall ITC activities and provide reports to the PD/Chief-Expert/Client(NHSRCL).
• Assist to act as lead member in ITC Coordination team.
• Assisting in Audit and review of the ITC Overall Basic Document, integrated Overall ITC Detail Plan and Overall ITC Plans issued by each Contractor.
• Assist in the Audit of the tests related to Overall ITC (as applicable).
• Assist in Auditing test results and advise corrective actions and/or additional tests to the Contractors.
• Assisting in Auditing the summarized/ compiled progress reports and recommendation on the Overall ITC.
• Assist and coordinate with different parties i.e. contractors, ISA, RDSO,CMRS etc.
• Assist in any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client (NHSRCL).

Any other work required to be performed to complete the project.

Profile/Skills

Min. Qualification: Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent )

Min. Experience: Engineering Graduate with 07 years, or Engineering Diploma with 10 years of experience in Overall ITC during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)*.

• Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined below:
• High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation.
• Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation.
