Job summary

LoadShare Networks is hiring a SDE-2/3 (Full Stack Engineer) for the Hyperlocal Engineering team in Bengaluru/Chennai. You will own services end-to-end, tackling real-time assignment and delivery-time prediction at scale.

The role demands strong backend (Java, Python) and frontend (React), plus AWS, Redis, Kafka, and distributed systems knowledge. You will impact operations across backend, frontend, and data domains.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of professional full-stack engineering experience.

• Relational databases at scale: query optimization, indexing, performance.
• Knowledge of Redis, message queues (SQS, Kafka) and asynchronous processing.
• Hands-on AWS in production; distributed systems basics: idempotency, retries, concurrency.
• Strong production troubleshooting and ownership of root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across the hyperlocal stack from backend to frontend.
• Contribute to design discussions and technical decisions for the systems you work on.
• Debug and fix issues in production systems running at high volume.
• Collaborate with product and operations to understand what is being built and why.

About the Role

The Hyperlocal Engineering team owns hyperlocal and quick commerce at LoadShare We work with the largest commerce platforms in the country, at volumes where the delivery promise is measured in minutes. The problems are real ones: real-time assignment at scale, delivery time prediction, and systems that hold up when demand triples in twenty minutes. Last mile in India is not a solved problem, and we work on it in production, at volume. We are hiring engineers who can own services in this stack end to end. Not just ship features, but understand the system deeply and the business it serves.

Must-Have

• 4 to 8 years of professional full stack engineering experience, with strong backend engineering skil Is (Java, Python) and frontend development experience (React or React Native).
• Proven experience with relational databases at scale, including query optimisation, index design, and diagnosing performance regressions in production.
• Working knowledge of Redis, message queues (SQS, Kafka, or equivalent), and asynchronous processing patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS in production.
• Solid grasp of distributed systems basics: idempotency, retries, concurrency, eventual consistency, and the failure modes that come with them.
• Strong production troubleshooting skills, with experience owning issues through to root cause.
• Strong business understanding, with the ability to make engineering decisions grounded in business outcomes rather than requirements alone.
• Al-native working style, with hands‑on experience using coding agents and LLM tooling in day to day engineering work.

Good-to-Have

• Prior experience in logistics, quick commerce, or on-demand delivery platforms.
• Experience building or extending Al agents, MCP tooling, or internal developer platforms.
• Experience working in a high‑growth environment with evolving requirements.
