Job summary

Synechron in Pune/Chennai is seeking an experienced Scrum Master with 8+ years of IT experience to drive Agile delivery and transformation across multiple teams. The role focuses on facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing Jira dashboards, and removing impediments to ensure timely delivery.

Strong collaboration with Product Owners and cross-functional teams is essential to build high-performing Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master.
• Strong experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• Hands-on Jira administration and reporting experience.
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe.
• Experience managing distributed cross-functional teams.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience tracking Agile metrics including Velocity, Burn-down, Burn-up, Lead Time, and Cycle Time.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Grooming.
• Drive Agile delivery and ensure adherence to Scrum principles across teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and refine the product backlog.
• Track Sprint progress, team velocity, burn-down charts, release plans, and delivery metrics.
• Identify and remove impediments impacting team productivity.
• Coach development teams, Product Owners, and business stakeholders on Agile principles.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and Agile maturity assessments.
• Manage risks, dependencies, and cross-team coordination to ensure timely project delivery.
• Create and maintain Agile dashboards, reports, and metrics using Jira.
• Support Agile transformation and scaling initiatives across the organization.
• Foster collaboration, transparency, and accountability within Agile teams.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with strong expertise in Agile Delivery, Sprint Management, Jira Administration, and Agile Transformation. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile practices across teams, remove impediments, and ensure successful delivery while fostering a high-performing Agile culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Grooming sessions.

• Hands-on experience with Jira administration, workflow configuration, dashboards, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience managing distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience tracking Agile metrics including Velocity, Burn-down, Burn-up, Lead Time, and Cycle Time.
• Ability to identify and eliminate delivery bottlenecks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain.
• Exposure to Agile Transformation initiatives.
• Working knowledge of Confluence and Agile reporting tools.
• Experience handling multiple Agile teams simultaneously.

Qualification
