Job summary

Citi in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support two dedicated Agile/Scrum teams, each about eight engineers. The role demands hands-on Agile expertise, strong JIRA skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.

The candidate will partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver sprint-level value, manage dependencies, and maintain Agile metrics to guide delivery. This is an on-site Bangalore role with enterprise expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as Scrum Master in a large-scale enterprise.
• Experience managing 2+ Scrum/Agile teams concurrently.
• CSM or equivalent Agile certification; strong JIRA skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as Scrum Master for 2 Agile development teams concurrently.
• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Partner with Product Owners and Engineering teams to drive sprint-level value delivery.
• Identify and resolve impediments and cross-team dependencies.
• Coordinate with Scrum of Scrums and report metrics.

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join Citi and support two dedicated Agile/Scrum development teams, each comprising approximately 8 engineers.

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on Agile professional with strong experience in Scrum, JIRA administration/configuration, Agile metrics, stakeholder management, dependency management, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Scrum Master for 2 Agile development teams concurrently.
• Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Partner with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, and Engineering teams to drive sprint-level value delivery.
• Identify and proactively resolve/escalate technical risks, impediments, and cross-team dependencies.
• Coordinate with other teams and participate in Scrum of Scrums.
• Drive continuous improvement using Agile metrics and team feedback.
• Track and report metrics such as Lead Time, Cycle Time, Defect Density, Forecast Accuracy, and Velocity.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Business, Product, and Engineering.
• Drive Agile mindset, team collaboration, self-organization, and iterative value delivery.
• Leverage JIRA for tracking, reporting, dashboards, and team performance analysis.

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Experience managing 2 or more Scrum/Agile teams simultaneously.
• CSM or equivalent Agile certification.
• Strong hands-on experience with JIRA Administration and Configuration.
• Experience with JIRA Reporting, Dashboards, Rich Filters, and Smart Dashboards.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience implementing and strengthening Agile/Scrum practices within development teams.

Good to Have

• BFSI / Banking / Financial Services experience.
• CSP / SAFe Agilist / PMI-ACP certification.
• Experience with SAFe or LeSS.
• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD.
• Understanding of financial services regulations and compliance.
