Job summary

SmartCoders Consulting is looking for a proactive and experienced Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery for cross-functional software development teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and experience driving Agile best practices.

You will work closely with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Facilitator.
• Healthcare domain experience is must.
• Experience with Pega Platform is must.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies effectively.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Coach Scrum teams on Agile principles and continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments and resolve blockers to ensure smooth sprint execution.
• Partner with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs.
• Track sprint progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time).
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Product, and Business teams for delivery.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and experience driving Agile best practices. You will work closely with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Coach and mentor Scrum teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments and resolve blockers to ensure smooth sprint execution.
• Partner closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize product backlogs.
• Coordinate meetings, capture comprehensive meeting notes, and distribute timely summaries to stakeholders.
• Track sprint progress using Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, cycle time, and throughput.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Product, and Business teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
• Support a hybrid Agile environment and promote Agile best practices across teams.
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, and elevate issues when necessary.
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance team productivity and delivery quality.
• Support release planning and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and encourage collaboration within cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• Healthcare domain experience is must.
• Experience with Pega Platform is must.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Facilitator.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies effectively.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Strong meeting coordination, documentation, and follow-up skills.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar Agile tools.
• Ability to remove impediments and improve delivery through Agile metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with software development teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Healthcare domain experience is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SaaS product development or Cloud-based applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments and Agile delivery metrics.
• Knowledge of Appeals & Grievances or Authorization processes.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe, LeSS).
• Experience working with distributed or remote teams.

Education & Certifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

Preferred

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent.
• Advanced Agile certifications such as A-CSM or PMI-ACP are an advantage..
