Job summary

CIEL HR in Pune is seeking a Scrum Master with 9+ years of experience to drive agile practices and help teams deliver high-quality software.

You will facilitate ceremonies, manage backlogs with product owners, coach teams toward higher maturity, coordinate across stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining strong communication.

Qualifications

• 9–12 years of experience as Scrum Master and related roles.
• Experience in gathering program requirements and defining project plans and timelines.
• Excellent knowledge of the Scrum framework, artifacts, and techniques.
• Ability to coordinate people and projects and facilitate changes with a focus on deliverables.
• Coordinate sprints, retrospectives, and daily standups; coach Agile practices.
• Be the point of contact for external communications with customers or stakeholders.
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests.
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather program requirements and define project plans and timelines.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at sprint end.
• Coordinate sprints, retrospectives, and daily standups.
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks and Scrum techniques.

Role & responsibilities :

• 9 years to 12 years of experience as Scrum Master, gathering program requirements define project plans timelines
• Should have excellent knowledge of the scrum framework with all its artifacts and techniques
• Ability to coordinate people and projects occasionally facilitating changes with a focus on the deliverables
• Manage each projects scope and timeline
• Coordinate sprints retrospective meetings and daily stand ups
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
• Be the point of contact for external communications e g from customers or stakeholders
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
• Help teams implement changes effectively
• Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
• Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
• Help build a productive environment where team members own the product and enjoy working on it
• Familiarity with software development
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts such as definition of done user stories automated testing backlog refinement
• Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks Crystal XP etc
• Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
• Problem solving and conflict resolution ability
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar field
• Scrum master certification is a plus
