Schneider Electric is seeking a SAP WM/EWM Lead Consultant to drive high-quality solution design, project delivery, and process improvements across global warehouse operations. This role requires strong functional expertise in SAP WM and EWM, the ability to lead end-to-end warehouse management initiatives, and deep experience in global rollouts, enhancements, and change management. The Lead Consultant will partner with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and globally aligned warehouse solutions.
Solution Design & Architecture Lead solution design, blueprinting, and functional specifications for WM/EWM-related projects and enhancements. Define and validate warehouse management solution architecture aligned with Schneider’s global template. Drive design workshops, impact assessments, and cross-functional solution alignment. Ensure scalable, upgrade-safe, and performant design across inbound, outbound, internal warehouse, and inventory processes.
Project Delivery & Enhancements Lead end-to-end project cycles, including requirement gathering, design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Deliver high-quality functional specifications, test plans, and cutover activities for WM/EWM projects. Manage change requests, enhancements, and configuration updates with adherence to global standards. Coordinate with ABAP teams, testers, and business SMEs to ensure timely and defect-free delivery.
Application Support Leadership Act as the point of escalation for complex L3 warehouse management issues. Guide junior analysts in troubleshooting, solution design, and global support practices. Perform RCA for recurring issues and drive long-term preventive solutions. Ensure adherence to SLAs and quality KPIs across WM/EWM ticket volumes.
Warehouse Process Expertise Provide deep functional expertise across: Goods Receipt, Putaway, Storage Types, Strategies Picking, Packing, Staging & Loading HU Management, Batch Management Replenishment & Internal Warehouse Movements Physical Inventory, Cycle Counting, Stock Adjustments Lead optimization initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency, reduce exceptions, and enhance throughput.
Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with MM, SD, GTS, EWM, TM, FI, PP, and 3PL partners for end-to-end solution alignment. Lead IDoc and interface design, monitoring, and corrective automation efforts. Coordinate with external systems (RF devices, scanners, WCS/WMS) for seamless operational integration.
Change Management & User Adoption Drive change impact assessments, training strategies, and communication plans for WM/EWM projects. Conduct user training, stakeholder workshops, and internal enablement sessions. Ensure smooth adoption of new processes with minimal operational disruption.
Governance, Compliance & Documentation Ensure compliance with Schneider’s global template, naming conventions, and change control processes. Maintain complete documentation—HLD, LLD, SOPs, KT decks, impact assessments, and test evidence. Participate in audits and ensure traceability across all WM/EWM functional changes.
