Job summary

Schneider Electric in Vadodara, India, seeks a Lean & Supply Chain Performance specialist to standardize processes, deploy best practices, and drive efficient performance across the site using digital tools and continuous improvement.

You will coach teams, run Kaizen workshops, optimize flows, develop roadmaps for standard applications, and align transformation objectives with operational goals to improve safety, quality and delivery.

Qualifications

  • Optimize physical and information flows using Lean methods (DMAIC, Kaizen).
  • Lead improvement plans and contribute to shared roadmaps to meet targets.
  • Support Safety, Quality, Delivery, SC Deployment, and HR skills development.
  • Facilitate collaboration and act as Lean coach; lead Kaizen workshops to close gaps.
  • Promote continuous improvement and operational discipline; prepare for future skills.
  • Integrate Smart/Digital tools and standardized applications into initiatives.
  • Align Business Transformation objectives with operational performance goals.
  • Ensure compliance with SPS principles and digital monitoring tools.
  • Prepare for future skills and provide insights via advanced analytics.

Job description

Mission
  • Responsible for challenging performance within the entity.
  • In charge of standardizing and deploying exemplary results in SPS animation, continuous improvement, best practices deployment, and standards design.
  • Train and coach, the perimeter for sustainability.
  • Promote and utilize necessary Smart and Digital solutions to support the perimeter in Supply Chain Performance improvement.
  • Develop and implement plans to integrate standard applications and processes that enhance overall site supply chain performance, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support Business Transformation program deployment and readiness, aligning standard applications deployment roadmaps without impacting site supply chain performance.
  • Areas of expertise include SPS, process design, ergonomics, capacity, simulation tools, investment, cost analysis, and performance.
Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize flows and efficiency through loss analysis and Lean practices.
  • Lead improvement plans and shared roadmaps; follow up on local actions.
  • Support Safety, Quality, Delivery, SC Deployment, and HR skills development.
  • Act as Lean coach; lead Kaizen workshops to sustain improvements.
  • Foster continuous improvement and operational discipline.
  • Develop and maintain roadmaps for standard applications and digital platforms.
  • Drive adoption of Smart Solutions and Digital Platforms for real-time visibility.
  • Align technology integration with process improvement for Business Transformation.
  • Ensure compliance with SPS principles and digital monitoring tools.
