Job summary

3shool Technology Consultants in Chennai region seeks a SAP specialist with strong SD, CRM and IB knowledge to support end-to-end sales and order processes within ECC and CRM integration. The role requires experience with configurable materials, BOMs, and custom enhancements to support complex order scenarios.

You will work on installed base management, equipment replication, and prepare for future S/4HANA readiness, with opportunities to grow into SAP integration and migration activities.

Job description

Skill: SAP CRM strong, Installed base (or) Ibase, little experience in SAP SD

1. SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Expertise

• Deep understanding of SAP SD processes.
• Sales quotation to order conversion.
• End-to-end order management lifecycle.
• Strong functional knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C).

2. SAP CRM Knowledge

• Understanding of how sales opportunities are created in CRM.
• Opportunity Quotation Sales Order process.
• CRM to ECC integration.

3. Variant Configuration / Configurable Materials

• Experience with configurable products/materials.
• Understanding how product configurations drive order creation.
• Familiarity with complex manufacturing/sales configurations.

4. BOM (Bill of Materials) Knowledge

• Order BOM creation and explosion.
• Understanding different BOM types:
• Order BOM
• Manufacturing BOM
• Knowledge of how BOM structures support equipment creation and order processing.

5. Custom Enhancements & Custom Logic

• Exposure to custom programs.
• Understanding of custom tables, mappings, and business logic.
• Ability to analyze and support customized SAP processes.

6. Equipment / Installed Base Management

• Understanding equipment creation in SAP ECC.
• Knowledge of Installed Base (IB) concepts.
• Equipment replication from ECC to CRM.
• Familiarity with Applied Materials' installed base processes is a significant plus.

7. Integration Knowledge

• CRM ECC integration.
• Equipment replication processes.
• End-to-end data flow across sales, orders, equipment, and CRM. 8. Future S/4HANA Readiness
• Candidate should be capable of growing into S/4HANA support activities.
