Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced SAP professional in India to support SAP Sales and Distribution, Service Management and CRM modules. The role involves hands-on enhancements, development and implementation, and acting as a bridge between business needs and the SAP team.

You will analyze demand, draft functional specs, ensure smooth operation and optimization of SAP systems, and coordinate transports for high-priority issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SAP Sales and Distribution, Service Management or CRM
• SD/SM/CRM with ABAP
• Hands-on enhancements, development, and implementation
• Experience analyzing business demand, drafting functional specs, and SAP implementations
• Daily operation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems
• MM and FI integration experience is a plus
• Independent SAP SD support with standard business process knowledge
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables
• Map client requirements to SAP configurations
• Handle changes/transports for high-priority issues
• Proactively identify and propose process or system enhancements
• Act as liaison between business and technical teams
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support
• Good communication, service mindset, and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Support SAP SD, CRM, and SM modules with ABAP enhancements and configurations.
• Analyze user requirements and translate into functional specs and SAP changes.

SAP SD :

• Min Years of Exp- 5 years of SAP Sales and Distributribution / Service Management / CRM
• Skillset: SD with ABAP / SM with ABAP / CRM with ABAP
• Hands on Enhancements / Development Exp / Implementation
• Responsible for in-depth analysis of business demand changes, demand sorting, formulation of solutions, preparation of functional speciation and implementation in SAP system
• Responsible for the daily operation, maintenance and optimization of SAP system, analysing the daily problems of SAP system, propose corresponding solutions and measures, and ensure the effective operation of SAP system
• MM and FI module integration experiences are a plus
• Able to independently support SAP SD module, proficient in standard business process, system operation and background configuration of SD module
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time
• Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
• Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues;
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
• Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
• Good at communication, strong sense of service and responsibility, good teamwork spirit.
