Job summary

AlgoLeap Technologies Pvt Ltd. seeks an SAP HCM Payroll specialist to configure and support Canada payroll end-to-end. You will handle schemas, testing, reconciliations, and year-end activities, including T4/T4A and ROE, while coordinating with ABAP developers for enhancements.

The role requires strong payroll knowledge, testing discipline, and the ability to work with PA/OM/Time Management integrations in a global SAP environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP HCM Canada Payroll is required.
• Ability to configure payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, features and rules.
• Proficiency in payroll testing, reconciliation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP HCM Canada Payroll (PY-CA).
• Work on payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, features and payroll rules.
• Perform payroll configuration, testing and troubleshooting.
• Handle gross-to-net payroll, regular/off-cycle payroll and retroactive payroll.
• Support Canadian statutory payroll requirements including CPP, EI, taxation and garnishments.
• Support year-end payroll activities and statutory reporting (T4/T4A and ROE).
• Perform payroll reconciliation and investigate calculation discrepancies.
• Handle complex production-support incidents and provide root-cause analysis.
• Work with PA, OM and Time Management integration with Payroll.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers for enhancements.
• Perform Unit Testing, SIT, UAT and parallel payroll testing.
• Support SAP payroll upgrades, legislative updates and HR support packs.
• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and provide SAP solutions.
• Maintain functional documentation and provide knowledge transfer to team members.

• Configure and support SAP HCM Canada Payroll (PY-CA).
• Work on Payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, features and payroll rules.
• Perform payroll configuration, testing and troubleshooting.
• Handle gross-to-net payroll, regular/off-cycle payroll and retroactive payroll.
• Support Canadian statutory payroll requirements including:
  • CPP – Canada Pension Plan
  • EI – Employment Insurance
  • Federal and provincial taxation
  • Garnishments and deductions
• Support year-end payroll activities and statutory reporting, including T4/T4A and ROE. SAP documentation confirms these as key Canada payroll reporting capabilities.
• Perform payroll reconciliation and investigate payroll calculation discrepancies.
• Handle complex production-support incidents and provide root-cause analysis.
