Job summary

Algoleap Technologies Pvt Ltd in Hyderabad invites an experienced SAP Canada Payroll Consultant to configure and maintain SAP HCM Payroll for Canada. The role requires deep knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, payroll schemas, wage types, and year-end processing, with integration to PA, OM, Time Management and Benefits.

You will work with HR, Finance, and Payroll teams to ensure compliant payroll operations, conduct SIT/UAT testing, and support ongoing payroll transformation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/HR/Business or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP HCM Payroll experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on SAP Canada Payroll configuration experience.
• Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation and taxation.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SAP HCM Payroll for Canada.
• Analyze requirements and translate into SAP payroll solutions.
• Configure payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and processes.
• Support payroll processing, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Manage year-end activities including T4 and RL-1 reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian payroll regulations.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Payroll teams to improve processes.
• Support SAP payroll integrations with Time Management and Benefits.
• Conduct SIT, UAT, and documentation activities.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot payroll issues.
• Participate in payroll transformation and SAP enhancement projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Canadian payroll legislation, SAP Payroll configuration, payroll schemas, wage types, year-end processing, and integration with Time Management, Personnel Administration, and Benefits modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SAP HCM Payroll for Canada.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP payroll solutions.
• Configure payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and payroll processes.
• Support payroll processing, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Manage year-end activities including T4, RL-1, and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian federal and provincial payroll regulations.
• Work closely with HR, Finance, and Payroll teams to improve processes.
• Support SAP payroll integrations with Benefits, Time Management, and third-party systems.
• Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Prepare functional specifications and documentation.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot payroll-related issues.
• Participate in payroll transformation and SAP enhancement projects.

Required Qualifications
