Job summary

GyanSys Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP HR Payroll specialist in Karnataka to lead end-to-end payroll design and implementation.

You will handle US/Canada payroll configurations within an S/4HANA environment and drive integration between SuccessFactors EC and SAP Payroll. The role requires strong knowledge of country-specific schemas, PCRs, tax configurations, and year-end processes, with proven ability to resolve complex payroll issues and coordinate with FI/CO.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Core SAP HR Payroll experience.
• Strong in US and Canada Payroll configurations.
• Led end-to-end design, configuration & implementation of SAP HR/HCM Payroll in S/4HANA.
• Configure country-specific payroll schemas, rules, and PCRs for accurate gross-to-net calculations.
• Drive integration between SAP SuccessFactors EC and SAP Payroll using ECP or Core Hybrid models.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end payroll design, configuration and implementation leadership.
• Maintain country-specific payroll schemas, rules, and PCRs for accurate gross-to-net calculations.
• Manage integration between SAP EC and SAP Payroll (ECP/Core Hybrid).
• Design statutory compliance, tax configurations, year-end processing, and reports.
• Oversee payroll tax engine tools and SAP Notes for regulatory updates.
• Produce functional specs for ABAP reports, user exits and interfaces; oversee testing.
• Diagnose and resolve payroll run issues and FI/CO posting problems.

• Should have 7+ years of Core SAP HR Payroll experience
• Should be strong in US and Canada Payroll Configurations
• Must have led the end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of SAP HR/HCM Payroll solutions within the S/4HANA environment
• Configure and manage complex country-specific payroll schemas, rules (PCRs), and features to ensure precise gross-to-net calculations
• Drive seamless integration between SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and SAP Payroll using Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or Core Hybrid models
• Design and maintain statutory compliance requirements, including tax configurations, year-end processing, and legal reporting/forms (e.g., Year-End tax filings)
• Oversee payroll tax engine tools (such as BSI Tax Factory for US payroll) and regularly apply SAP Notes and Support Packages for regulatory updates
• Author comprehensive functional specifications for ABAP developers to create custom payroll reports, user exits, and interfaces, followed by rigorous testing
• Serve as the subject matter expert to diagnose and resolve complex payroll run errors, posting failures to Finance (FI/CO), and third-party vendor interface issues
