Job summary

AlgoLeap Technologies Pvt Ltd. in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced SAP Canada Payroll Consultant to support, configure, and maintain SAP HCM Payroll solutions for Canadian payroll operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Canadian payroll legislation, SAP Payroll configuration, payroll schemas, wage types, year-end processing, and integration with PA, TM, and Benefits modules. The position requires 5+ years of SAP HCM Payroll experience, with hands-on SAP Canada Payroll

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP HCM Payroll experience.
• 3+ years of SAP Canada Payroll configuration experience.
• Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation and taxation.
• Experience with year-end payroll activities and statutory reporting.
• Knowledge of PA, OM, and Time Management modules.
• Experience in SAP support and implementation projects.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SAP HCM Payroll for Canada.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP payroll solutions.
• Configure payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and payroll processes.
• Support payroll processing, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Manage year-end activities including T4, RL-1, and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian federal and provincial payroll regulations.
• Work closely with HR, Finance, and Payroll teams to improve processes.
• Support SAP payroll integrations with Benefits, Time Management, and third-party systems.
• Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Prepare functional specifications and documentation.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot payroll-related issues.
• Participate in payroll transformation and SAP enhancement projects.

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP HCM Payroll experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on SAP Canada Payroll configuration experience.
• Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation and taxation.
• Experience with payroll schemas, PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules), and wage types.
• Experience with year-end payroll activities and statutory reporting.
• Knowledge of Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and Time Management modules.
• Experience in SAP support and implementation projects.
