Job summary

Lakshyaedu seeks a skilled Sales Trainer to strengthen our sales team through structured training, coaching, and continuous development. The role focuses on improving sales effectiveness, product understanding, customer engagement, and overall performance to drive business results.

You will work with sales leaders to align training with goals and growth plans, building a high-performing, confident, and result-oriented team that meets GTM objectives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver sales training programs for new hires and existing teams.
• Train teams on product knowledge, sales processes, objection handling, negotiation, and closing techniques.
• Identify performance gaps through data analysis, call audits and observations and address them with targeted training.
• Conduct role plays, mock calls and simulations to reinforce learning and confidence.
• Coach sales executives and managers to improve conversion ratios and productivity.
• Align training initiatives with business goals and GTM strategies with sales leadership.
• Track training effectiveness using assessments, KPIs and performance metrics.
• Maintain and update training content, playbooks and SOPs.
• Support onboarding and continuous capability-building initiatives.

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Sales Trainer to strengthen our sales team’s capabilities through structured training, coaching, and continuous development. The role focuses on improving sales effectiveness, product understanding, customer engagement, and overall performance to drive business results. You will work closely with sales leaders to align training initiatives with business goals and growth plans. This role plays a critical part in building a high performing, confident, and result-oriented sales team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver sales training programs for new hires and existing sales teams (classroom, virtual, and on-the-job).
• Train teams on product knowledge, sales processes, objection handling, negotiation, and closing techniques.
• Identify performance gaps through data analysis, call audits, and observations, and address them with targeted training.
• Conduct role plays, mock calls, and sales simulations to reinforce learning and improve confidence.
• Coach sales executives and managers to improve conversion ratios and productivity.
• Work closely with sales leadership to align training initiatives with business goals and GTM strategies.
• Track training effectiveness using assessments, KPIs, and sales performance metrics.
• Maintain and update training content, playbooks, and SOPs regularly.
• Support onboarding, refresher training, and continuous capability-building initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-6 years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, or sales leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of inside sales / field sales processes and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and influence sales teams.
• Hands-on experience with LMS, CRM, and sales productivity tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Certification in sales training, coaching, or facilitation is a plus.
