Job summary

Contactx Resource Management is seeking a Sales Support Engineer in Maharashtra to provide technical and pre-sales support for mechanical and material handling solutions, understand customer requirements, and prepare proposals.

The role collaborates with Sales, Engineering and Product teams, supports meetings and events, and favors candidates with 1–3 years in technical sales for industrial equipment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in technical sales, sales support, or application engineering for industrial equipment.
• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (mandatory).
• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate with customers, sales and engineering teams and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and pre-sales support for mechanical engineering equipment and material handling solutions.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable engineering solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, specifications, quotations and product-related documentation.
• Coordinate with Sales Managers, Engineering and Product teams for customer requirements and technical solutions.
• Support sales meetings, customer discussions, market research, trade shows and industry events.
• Candidates with experience in Material Handling, Process Equipment, Chemical Equipment, Pharmaceutical Equipment, Cement, RMC or other industrial equipment will be preferred.
