Job Description:

The Sales Manager - LAP will lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve ambitious targets for Loan Against Property (LAP) products. This role requires a strong understanding of the financial services market, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and achieve sales targets for LAP products.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives, providing ongoing training, performance feedback, and support.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key channel partners, builders, and real estate agents to generate leads and drive business.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.
• Monitor individual and team sales performance, ensuring adherence to sales processes, compliance regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
• Collaborate with credit, operations, and marketing teams to ensure seamless customer experience and product delivery.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and develop individual development plans for team members.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, product knowledge, and market developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in sales within the financial services industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role specifically managing LAP or mortgage sales.
• Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and building high-performing sales teams.
• In-depth knowledge of Loan Against Property products, credit policies, and lending processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
