Weare looking for a seasoned and strategic Manager – Sales to lead governmentengagement and drive business growth by selling data analytics, financialforensic or GST Solutions to the Income Tax Department and alliedgovernment bodies. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding ofgovernment procurement processes, tax enforcement objectives, and data-drivengovernance.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of data analytics and forensicor GST solutions to central and state Income Tax authorities, Enforcement Directorate,and related government departments.
• Build and execute a strategic sales plan focused onpublic sector procurement and digital governance initiatives.
• Identify business opportunities in areas such asfinancial fraud detection, tax evasion analytics, PAN-Aadhaar linkage analysis,and shell entity detection.
• Engage with senior officials (Commissioners,Directors, Policy Makers) to position the value proposition of advancedanalytics.
• Collaborate with internal product and engineeringteams to customize solutions aligned with government needs and complianceframeworks.
• Respond to RFPs, tenders, and empanelmentopportunities; drive pre-sales activities including PoCs and technicalpresentations.
• Build long-term relationships with key governmentstakeholders and ecosystem partners (SI vendors, consultants, etc.).
• Lead a team of public sector sales professionals,ensuring performance against quarterly and annual targets.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in B2G(Business-to-Government), with at least 2 years in selling forensicsor GST solutions to central/state government departments, preferably Income Taxor law enforcement agencies.
• Proven track record in selling data analytics, frauddetection, or forensic financial software solutions.
• Deep knowledge of government procurement cycles,budgeting, and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong network across key government institutionsincluding CBDT, ED, MoF, etc.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, andstakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams(product, legal, delivery, finance).
• CA/MBA/Engineering background preferred; priorexperience in GovTech, RegTech, or TaxTech is a strong advantage.
