Job summary

SMFG India Credit Company in Bengaluru seeks a field-oriented Credit Officer to source SME/MSME clients, build strong relationships, and manage portfolios for assigned customers. You will perform basic financial appraisals for credit needs and coordinate pre- and post-disbursement activities for new and renewed credit lines.

You should have deep local market knowledge, a robust network of DSA and channel partners, and a track record of reliable early warning and recovery actions.

Qualifications

• Experience in business loans
• Good connection with local DSA & channel partners
• Local market knowledge
• CIBIL score > 700
• No employment gap

Responsibilities

• Sourcing SME/ MSME customers
• Manage relationship, early warning, portfolio management of assigned customers
• Have or develop ability to do financial appraisal for credit needs
• Handle / coordinate for pre & post disbursement activities for all new / renewed credit lines for assigned set of customers
• Coordinate collateral creation process for new customers and renew credit lines for assigned set of customers
• Understanding process of mortgaging and securing collaterals
• To do field level early warning call as per prescribed frequency
• To support soft collection in case of any of assigned customer going delinquent
