Job summary

GoDigit seeks a Sales Manager (Agency and Broking) to supervise business delivery under agency and brokers for a branch in Panaji, Goa. The role focuses on driving topline through the agency/broking channel and expanding motor, non-motor, and health portfolios while ensuring IRDAI licensing compliance.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in GI with agencies/brokers, strong leadership, negotiation and relationship management, and the ability to motivate a team toward monthly targets and profitability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in general insurance with agencies or brokers.
• Proven leadership and relationship-management abilities.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve monthly topline targets through agency and broking vertical.
• Ensure diversification of portfolio into motor, non-motor and health products for the location.
• Achieve business goals and revenue targets.
• Recruit agents/brokers through team members as per targets.
• Coordinate with team to activate agents/brokers monthly as per targets.
• Manage targets for agent/broker recruitment, activation and premium.
• Responsible for achieving overall GWP and profitability.
• Maintain COR at budgeted levels and minimize combined ratio losses.
• Ensure IRDAI licensing compliance and handle relationships managers.
• Train team on products, processes and USPs of the company.
• Identify areas of improvement and new business opportunities.

A Sales Manager (Agency and Broking) is primarily responsible to supervise the business delivery under agency andbrokers for a branch.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and achieve monthly topline targetsthrough agency and broking vertical
• Ensure diversification of portfolio into motor,non-motor, health products for the location they are managing
• Achieving business goals and revenue targets.
• Drive recruitment of agents / brokers throughteam members as per targets set
• Coordinate with team to ensure month on monthactivation of agents / brokers as per targets setManage individual targets for agent and brokerrecruitment, activation and premium if any
• Responsible for achieving overall GWP (GrossWritten Premium)
• Responsible for sustainable profitability
• Responsible to maintain COR at budgeted levels
• Combined Ratio- Minimizing Loss & Cost of Acquisition
• Ensuring IRDAI compliance regarding licensing
• Handling a team of relationships managers.
• Train team on products, process and USPs of Company
